Confirmation
Once I receive your request through the website or app, I will get in touch within 48 hours to see if I’m the right therapist for you and your needs. Together, we’ll decide whether to proceed with an initial consultation or, if a better fit is needed, I can refer you to another therapist. The length and frequency of therapy will be tailored to your needs and the challenges you wish to address.
Payment
Therapy sessions last 60 minutes and cost €100.
Invoices are sent based on the agreed rate and date, and payment is due within 14 days.
If payment is delayed, two reminders will be sent before the matter is handed over to a collection agency.
You can also pay by debit card at the practice immediately after a session, making it simple and convenient.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel a session, please email nathalie@internalaffairs.nu.
Cancelling more than 48 hours in advance is free.
Cancelling within 24–48 hours incurs a 50% fee.
Cancelling within 24 hours of the session will be charged in full.
The cancellation date is based on the date and time your email is received (or the next business day if sent outside working hours).
Privacy
Your privacy is very important. All information shared during sessions is treated with the utmost confidentiality. Any third parties involved in your care are also bound by strict confidentiality.
Your information is stored securely in an electronic client file. After therapy concludes, a summary of your treatment is kept for 10 years for continuity of care, but you can request in writing for your records to be deleted at any time. Only the therapist has access to your client file.

Complaints
Internal Affairs is affiliated with SCAG (Stichting Complementaire en Alternatieve Gezondheidszorg) and follows the Dutch Healthcare Quality, Complaints, and Disputes Act (Wkkgz) to ensure complaints are handled in a safe and accessible way.
If you ever have concerns about my work as a therapist, I hope we can resolve them together first. If that’s not possible, you can reach out to my professional association, NVPA. They will handle your concerns confidentially and guide you with care through the options available to you.
